Based out of Atlanta, GA, The Earthly Alternative has been providing natural alternatives to everyday essentials since 2016. Their founder, Morgan, utilizes her education in the medical field to formulate plant-based hygiene products that are just as, if not more effective, than the generic products that often pose health concerns due to unnatural, and unrestricted, ingredients that disturb the gut, clog pores and trigger skin irritation. The products also come in compostable packaging, which means that your mindfully consumed products can be disposed of care-free!
“Sustain Pedal: Nashville is providing you their Pit Fragrance and Pit Bars. I’ve used many natural deodorants that were cakey, messy, hard to wash off, and simply didn’t combat odor appropriately. I began washing with the Pit Bar and started with the Unscented version of their pit perfume to see just how effective the formula was at combatting odor (I have a reputation for smelling good, which I refuse to compromise haha). To my surprise and delight, my pits were detoxed and regulated in no time to alleviate any funk caused by congested pit pores and bad bacteria. The deodorant applies smooth, invisible, and performs all day. The Founder, Sandra Velasquez, turned down a deal in a refusal to settle, placing trust in the vision she had for her community and honoring her culture instead. Nopalera, named after their signature ingredient, The Nopal (Prickly Pear Cactus), has gone on to be featured in Allure, Vogue, and Forbes among other big name outlets. Dannielle founded Soap Distillery in 2012 from the need for diversity in the natural product sphere and a desire to make soaps that smell better than expected. The brand has become synonymous with the themes of beverage culture, traveling, and (of course) sustainable practices. Placing a strong emphasis on regenerative packaging solutions, the end-of-life result of every product is considered to take as much responsibility to recycle out of your hands. “The soap bar provided in your bundle is all-natural, vegan, cruelty-free, and smells absolutely incredible. They’re formulated with luxurious, sustainable oils and without the use of palm oil, animal fats, or sodium lauryl sulfate. I went with the Honey Whiskey bar for its mildly sweet and spicy scent that’s characteristically Nashville. Ground oats are also in the mix for a satisfying exfoliation and creamy lather, so the first step of your body-care routine feels just as good as the last.
